Mask-go-round

I'm having so much fun making these masks! There are such great fabrics out there. I love that masks are helping small shops survive and providing income to those who've lost jobs due to Covid. I buy most of my fabric and supplies from Etsy, though some comes from one of my favorite crafty stores in Durham, Freeman's Creative.  I decided early on that if I have to wear a mask, I want it to be something that makes me happy. I hope these will make others happy as well.

Same idea as the buttons except in magnet form. Many of these can be found at Vaguely Reminiscent, on Ninth Street in Durham.

Lately I've been making these small 1-1/4" buttons. Images are cropped from various sources. Some echo the intent of the original photo or graphic but most bring a  secondary element into focus creating an entirely new composition.
